NIGERIA IN THE PROPHETIC TIMELINE: WANDERING OR ON A JOURNEY?(PART 2)
One of the screaming headlines on 28th Feb 2017(the same day I posted the Part One of this topic) was this:
“OUR GENERATION HAS FAILED NIGERIANS”
” Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has owned up that his generation has failed Nigeria in the path of taking the country to the Promised Land even as he pleaded for forgiveness…”(Nigerian Tribune).
If you read my last post, there are two words in the above quotation that will ring a bell: ‘generation’ , ‘promised land’.
The fearful generation has failed the country!
They tried their best but they couldn’t lead Nigeria to the Promised Land(Canaan).
Lets go back to Israelites wandering in the wilderness:
Deut 2:1-2
1)Then we turned back and set out toward the wilderness along the route to the Red Sea, as the
LORD had directed me. For a long time we made our way around the hill country of Seir.
2)Then the LORD said to me, “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north.
Do you know that between verses 1 and 2 above, there were 40years of wandering?
1)Nigeria embarked on a journey in 1960 but along the way she began to wander.
2)1993 was a year Nigeria should have left Kadesh to the Promised Land but the Third Republic never saw the light of the day.
3)The Fourth Republic that began in 1999 was supposed to be led by a new generation of Nigerians but it was not so.Nigerians went for the old generation that was not supposed to lead especially after 1993.The first president in this fourth republic was quoted above apologising that his generation failed the country.Moses was a fantastic leader but Joshua eventually led Israelites to the Promised Land.
4)The wandering of Nigeria will last for 60years after the year of independence.Year 2020 is a year Nigeria must not play with.
Nigeria will be on her way out of Kadesh in 2020!
5)The people that will lead Nigeria to the Promised Land will not be part of the old generation that has failed the country. They are of the faith generation not the fearful generation.
Specifically, those that were less than 20years as at 1993 general election that was annulled should get ready for leadership positions in the country.
Nigeria! Nigeria!! Nigeria!!! Know your time of visitation.
The next level of leadership in Nigeria belongs to the faith generation.
The generation that believes that ‘we can’.
The generation that will not be afraid of the Anakites.
The generation that sees challenges as stepping stones to success.
The generation that will not shy away from their responsibilities.
The generation that will think out of the box.
If you belong to this generation, get yourself prepared for the challenges ahead.
Stay blessed.
