How to reinforce good habits…(3)

If you can drive a car,how did you learn it?

Let me guess:

You were initially using your conscious mind to learn it,you thought it out before you pressed the accelerator, and did the same thing before changing the gear. When you became skillful in driving, everything became embedded in your subconscious mind. Now your hands and leg(s) act without your conscious intervention majority of the time.

What makes it to become what you do subconsciously?

Persistent repetition!

Rule 3: Persistent repetition works.

Keep repeating persistently a good habit until you do it without ‘thinking’ about it.

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands”-2 Tim 1:6

Have you seen people who smile effortlessly?Yes,it is already part of their subconscious mind.

Those that frown most times can learn how to smile by smiling repetitively until it comes naturally without being coaxed to say …Cheese!
