Don’t derive pleasure in complaining…

Do you know some find it uncomfortable if there is nothing to complain about?

If per chance everything is okay where they are, they don’t mind going to where they will be able to complain!

There is a Jewish story as told by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks to back the stated point up:

“It concerns a man named Finkelstein. He was a patient at Mass General Hospital, one of the finest hospitals in the world. He received care there for seven days.

Then, without explanation, he checked himself out and checked into a run-down hospital on the Lower East Side of New York.
His new doctor was intrigued.

He asked Finkelstein: “What was wrong with Mass General? Was it the doctors?”

“The doctors? They were geniuses,” Finkelstein replied. “Wonderful. I can’t complain.”

“How about the nurses?”
“The nurses? Fantastic. Angels in human forms, kind, attentive. About the nurses I can’t complain.”

“Was it the food?” the doctor asked incredulously.
“The food was divine. Like a world-class restaurant. About the food I can’t complain.”

The doctor looked frustrated. He asked Finkelstein: “Why did you leave one of the great hospitals in the world and come here?”

Finkelstein looked at him with a big smile.
“Because here– Here I can complain!

Don’t live a life full of complaints.Appreciate the good things around you for there is something to be grateful for.
