Everyday we are caught up with loads of events,changes and unexpected encounters.

The way we respond emotionally and physically to these events is called stress.

Medical research has come up with a report that between fifty and eighty-five percent of all people hospitalised are there due to some stress-related conditions.

So,how do I know if I am stressed?

There is a stress test called Holmes- Rahe Social Readjustment Scale which lists some 43 common life changes.

Simply identify your own changes and sum them up.

NB:It is eye opening that even some positive events like marriage,pregnancy,getting new jobs could induce stress!
