Why the rat race?

Why are you in a rat race?

Are you being pressured by God or the Holy Spirit?

Is God nudging you to be fast with what you are doing or else He will fail as God or be dethroned?

Does the Almighty God have certain expectations of you that you do things in certain time frame?

NO! NO!! NO!!!

I have an idea of the trigger for this rat race:

People’s expectations of you!

“My friends think I should…”

“My spouse expects me to…”

“My parents say this…”

“My boss says that…”

Why running a race determined by external voices rather than the voice of your Maker?

Quit the rat race now.

You are not here to impress any man.

Neither are you on earth to compete with anyone except the person you see in the mirror when next you check how you look.
