The growth of the ‘king of trees'(2)

The tree of Cedar in Lebanon is never in competition with other trees that are growing faster than it.Provided its roots keep going down,it knows that it is a matter of time,it will catch up with them.

In the same way,the Bible compares the growth of a righteous man to that of the Cedar of Lebanon.

“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.”-Psalm 92:12(NKJV)

Righteousness makes your growth inward and downward first before making it outward and upward.

It means you may not be ‘shining’ or seen as ‘enjoying life’ at first. This is as a result of the internal growth in you as opposed to the external type that people love to see.

However, for as long as your root is on its way to touch the River of Life, you can rest assured that very soon your outward and upward growth will become evident to all.
