“You have promised to go with me to Egypt…I thank You.”

“You have told me your name and I can easily tell my people if they ask me…I thank You”

But sir,I still have a concern:

“What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?”-Exo 4:1

Hmmmmmm…

Moses knew his people very well that they could not be swept off their feet by mere talk!

Therefore he needed to be sure he would have something as evidence to back his message.

God had to teach Moses two signs that he could display to prove that He sent him- Exo 4:1-9.

As it was then,so it is now and so will it be that people will ask for proof of your calling if you are called!

Oratory skill won’t be enough…Mere bible quotations might be insufficient in this generation.

“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.”-John 4:48

Like Moses,if you are called, ensure you are empowered for the job…Let the signs follow you…Leave the trail of the power of God wherever you go to further strengthen the message you preach.

“For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.”-1Cor 4:20(NKJV)

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”(NIV)
