Have you ever been in a place where you think you don’t belong to?

Have you felt some uneasiness within you when you are in certain places?

Do you undervalue yourself when you are in such places?

Very likely, such locations are not your Goshen!

The family of Joseph would have felt worse than you if they had stayed in the midst of the Egyptians.

The Egyptians detested shepherds!

Thank God for Joseph who advised his family to tell the Pharaoh they were shepherds.

Pharaoh offered them Goshen where they were able to continue their occupation and become what God wanted them to be.

So,what does Goshen represent?

1)It is a place where you can fully express yourself without being looked down as less than you are.

2)It is a place where you have a sense of belonging.

3)It is a place where you are valuable.

4)It is a place of settlement…A home from home.

5)It is a place of fruitfulness.

“So Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt,in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions there and grew and multiplied exceedingly.”-Gen 47:27
